Designed by master craftsman and renowned hand-tool instructor Rob Cosman, this premium crosscut saw delivers professional-level accuracy and joinery-ready surface quality straight from the woodworking shop. Drawing on thousands of hours spent teaching students across three countries, Rob refined every detail to make crosscutting smoother, faster, and more precise. The saw’s 10" blade features 15 TPI and an exceptionally fine .002" set per side, allowing it to glide through hardwoods and softwoods while producing a surface clean enough for immediate joinery. An extra-heavy brass back adds ideal balance and natural downward force, helping ensure cuts remain straight, consistent, and controlled.

Users can choose from beautifully sculpted composite handles in “bone resin” or “ebony resin,” each shaped with carved finger recesses for enhanced comfort, grip, and long-session control. The saw’s construction is reinforced with four hand-peened copper pins securing the blade to the brass back and two split-nut bolts fastening the handle to both the blade and spine, creating a tool built for long-term stability. Every saw is personally tested and hand-tuned by Rob Cosman to meet his exacting performance standards, resulting in an heirloom-quality tool crafted for accuracy, reliability, and a lifetime of fine woodworking.
